3 Special museums in Zagreb with noteworthy MICE facilities!

If a historic setting is what you’re looking for, we bring you 3 stunning museums in Zagreb that will play the perfect backdrop to your next MICE in the city!
1) Museum of Arts and Crafts

Museum of Arts and Crafts was founded in 1880, as one of the first institutions of its kind in Europe. Its role was to preserve the traditional values of people’s trades as well as to create a new aesthetic culture for the city’s upper class. So, for that purpose, in 1882 the Museum as well as a Craft school (known today as the School for Applied Art and Design), were founded. The modern role of the museum is seen in its rich cultural and societal events: the Museum and its open terraces are an ideal place for organizing symposia, seminars, concerts, charity and promotional events.

2) The Mimara Museum

The Mimara Museum was opened in 1987 and is situated inside a neorenaissance building which was built in 1895. Since 1987 (until then it was a secondary school) an art collection donated to Croatia by Wiltrud and Ante Topic Mimara has been placed here. The Mimara Museum is located in one of Zagreb’s most beautiful squares in the city center.
3) Zagreb City Museum

Zagreb City Museum was founded by Brotherhood of Croatian Dragon in 1907. It is located in the Upper Town, within the renovated complex of the former Convent of the Order of the Poor Clares built in 1650. Numerous museum collections represent an endless source for research and presentation of Zagreb life throughout the history to its present days.
